The 3D modelling skills Agility3 is bringing to DRIVE Sim will enable us to continue maximising the value we deliver to our customers in rapidly growing sectors such as AV development.

These highly detailed and accurate virtual environment models developed by Agility3 enable us to conduct rapid tests in a simulated environment, allowing us to refine systems and mitigate risks ahead of conducting trials on the public highway.

When we started this project, we were slightly concerned given the extent of the area and the novelty of the simulation platform’s visual engine. As the project progressed, these concerns were dispelled. Agility3 exhibited efficient communication, rapid issue resolution and dedication to deliver to our expectations.

Agility3 took the time to understand our expectations and requirements in the beginning and kept us up to date with progress as well as any issues encountered throughout the project. They went out of their way to solve these issues. In the end, Agility3 delivered a model we are impressed with and will certainly help us achieve our goal to ensure CAVs are safe, secure and functionally correct.

The Agility3 VR application is an accurate digital twin of the SMLL testbed. We intend this application to complement our existing digital twin assets, allowing us to offer virtual reality trials and showcase the digital twin and the SMLL testbed to our customers. In addition, simulation will play an important role in CAV development and system validation to reduce overall development costs. This digital environment can be an important enabler to validating systems using simulation. It was a pleasure working with the Agility3 team on this project.

It was a pleasure working with the Agility3 team on this complex project. The goal was to produce a 4D interactive visualisation to allow the end user to simply understand the complex technical build sequence for a large infrastructure development project. From day one, the team’s proposal clearly outlined the Agility3 and HOCHTIEF data responsibilities which avoided any misinterpretation. Agility3’s detailed approach to project management ensured that they were able to adapt to our build programme changes, some of which were last minute. The final output certainly exceeded our expectations and Agility3 implemented some excellent touches in terms of the user interface. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with the team again.

The completed application has surpassed our expectations with regards to the quality of the visualisation that is provided and initial reaction from our clients has been very positive. The enhanced functionality will further improve the fidelity and add significantly to the value of the training that G-Sim can be used to provide. The professionalism and 3D visualisation expertise of Agiity3 played a key part in ensuring application was completed to a very high standard in a relatively short time frame.

ProRail are very happy with the project Agility3 delivered for visualising the Dutch railway infrastructure. From the very start of the project Agility3 were willing and able to understand the needs of ProRail and, through their expertise in developing high-performance 3D visualisations, translate these needs into usable solutions. Tight deadlines were always met and Agility3 are very easy to work with.

SINTEF are very pleased with the 3D terrain of the Eberg Traffic Arena delivered by Agility3. The landscape is very close to how it looks in reality and gives you a very good impression of being there when using VR. This was confirmed from the preliminary test with children who are familiar with the real-world site. This was important for us to confirm, so that we can use it as an evaluation tool. Not only was the quality of the delivered environment very high but working with Agility3 was also very straightforward and easy.

Agility3 provide accurate 3D modelling that is instrumental in our driver behaviour research. Having this degree of modelling sophistication allows us to provide a better service to our customers and bring us one step closer in pioneering future transport.

Having worked directly with Agility3 on previous projects I have always found their 3D modelling services to be of the highest quality, being very visually representative and meeting all requirements. Alongside this the Agility3 team are always responsive, professional and easy to work with. Therefore, we had confidence in choosing to work with them again and would always recommend them to others.

Our requirement for a 3D database to be used in a real-time driving simulator was challenging both in complexity and timescale.
