On the 1st of July 2016 Agility3 stepped into its 5th year of trading and so celebrated its 4th birthday – plenty of cake was consumed!
At the end of each year we always like to look back and reflect on where we have come from since our inception in 2012 and how we have developed over the preceding 12 months. This year we are especially proud of the success and growth we have experienced. We could say it has been the best year yet!
Through the hard work, passion and dedication of our team we have seen our sales more than double that of our previous year. This has meant we have been able to add some very talented new recruits to our team and also upgrade our office. In April 2016 we moved to our new lovely countryside location, complete with nearby country pub, just outside of Stevenage in Hertfordshire.
Amidst our growth we are thrilled that we have been able to continue working with our existing clients such as Specialist Project Integration (SPI) and the TRL as well as welcoming some exciting new clients such as Transport for London (TfL) and Inzpire Ltd.
With our clients, over the last 12 months, we have worked and continue to work on some really interesting projects with innovative end uses. With TfL we have been developing a 3D Visualisation tool which brings their Railway Engineering Simulator results to life, helping key stakeholders understand the simulation modelling behind engineering decisions. Alongside this we have been creating a virtual environment of the Greenwich Peninsula which TRL will use within its DigiCar driving simulator as part of trials for their GATEway Project – an £8 million research project to investigate the use, perception and acceptance of autonomous vehicles in the UK. We then recently joined the Inzpire Ltd team to support them in the development of their next generation synthetic training project, GHOST, for the UK MOD’s Centre of Defence Enterprise. It has been great to work on these projects and we’re very proud of our contribution to innovation and change in a number of sectors.
These projects and all the others we have worked on throughout the year have kept us very busy indeed, but that’s the way we like it! We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our clients and everyone that has helped us reach this point.
There are lots of exciting things on the horizon for Agility3 and we look forward to another 12 months of pushing the boundaries and using our expertise to help our clients achieve success.
